Question about sickbeard plg

Featured Replies

so im using the sickbeard plugin. sickbeard updates the list of shows at 3am and, as far as i can tell, there is no way to change that. a force update is necessary if your pc isnt on at that time. using the unraid plugin though, unraid automatically starts sickbeard when unraid starts. is there a way to have the plugin do a force update (sickbeard.py --forceupdate)when it starts?

You can modify the plugin to add the option, ill look at adding it as a optional parameter for the plugin.

In the future I suggest asking questions related to these plugins in their respective support threads, I do not always watch other threads and may miss it, but am subscribed to the support threads so I'm notified immediately. The same probably goes for other users that could help as well. :)

I've update the sickbeard plugin on the dev branch to include this option. If you'd like grab it HERE and give it a test run. All it does is add or remove the --forceupdate option if it is set in the config page.

i wasnt sure where the best place to ask was but i will keep that in mind. really loving your plugins. thanks for the help.

No problem, I only mention posting there as I get the notification and can help quicker.

Did you try the version in dev? Just wanting to have a user test before I push to master. Worked fine for me though. I verified by looking at the log to make sure Sickbeard was in fact doing a full refresh vs a refresh of recently missed items
