ieatwarez
Currently I have this: I want to replace the failing drive with a larger drive. If I stop the array, replace the drive with a larger drive, start the array and then sync will the OS replace the data on the larger new drive even though it is bigger? Thanks Link to comment
DoeBoye
Yup. You will need to select the new drive from the dropdown of the old drive before starting the array, but otherwise, no problem! Note: I'm on v5... not sure what you are using... I believe the process is the same for 4.7 though. Note2: You might not even need to select. If the old drive is removed, unraid may put the new one in it's place. Either way, once the new one is showing in your array, there should be a blue ball beside it telling you it is a new disk. Once you hit the rebuild button and unraid finishes, that will change to green and you're good to go. Link to comment
