August 31, 201213 yr I'm having trouble deleting an AFP share because, as has been previously noted, I can't delete hidden files. I've tried some commands that have been offered previously to others with the same issue but they did not work. The share is named TM. I turned off exporting of the share and have stopped the array and rebooted the server after each attempt but the share is still there. I've tried the following: "rm /mnt/disk1/tm/.*" rm /mnt/user/tm/* rm /mnt/disk1/tm/.*/ rm -rf /mnt/disk1/tm/ Any help would be greatly appreciated!
August 31, 201213 yr Author Ok, I got it removed after I searched a little more. Here's what I did: At the linux command line invoke mc use "mc" to remove the "share" directory under /mnt/user then remove the /boot/config/shares/sharename.cfg file then stop the array and reboot.
