speedbal
I have recently started my search for a Cache drive and I have heard these Crucial M4s are one the best... Fry's has a one day sale for them that looks pretty attractive. Should I bite? http://www.frys.com/product/7018661?site=sa:adpages%20page:P11_SAT%20date:090112 Note: This maybe in-store only since it is a one day sale. Thanks speedbal Link to comment
StevenD
Great drive and great price! I have M4s in every Windows desktop and laptop in my house. I paid $400 for the 256GB version a year ago. Link to comment

I tried OCZ drives and you can't do any updates if it is your main drive. Very lame. Link to comment

I just had to update the firmware on a bunch of our M4s we have in PCs at work because they were rebooting and not being able to see the drive. The latest firmware fixed the issue. In any case, they were the main Windows drive. Never heard of that being a restriction in drives before, but that is pretty lame. Link to comment

I just checked their website and they list Windows installers and a boot ISO. I noticed that the firmware on the website is a couple of versions higher that what Im using, so I will try it when I get home. Link to comment
