According to the FAQ regarding a Plus License:

 

unRAID Server Plus - $69/$99(for 2 keys) - 6 drives (5 data, 1 parity, 1 cache)

 

Do I have to use that configuration? I am buying the the Plus, because I want to use a cache drive.

 

With a Plus license, could I have 4 drives (2 data, 1 parity, 1 cache) ??

 

Just curious, I know this is probably a dumb question.

    It is the max. setup the license will alow you, lesser drives is absolutely possible.
