Power On Hours at 2400?!  Can't be the same as MTBF....  That must be how they are calculating their failure rate on less than 1%.

 

Hard drive quality has simply gone to hell when companies started to buy each other.  No need to put out a quality product anymore when you're the only game in town.  Unbelievable.

Still not great but not nearly the doom and gloom that others have posted.

Fact is every hard drive will die.  From my experience Seagates are the worst of all.  Yet, at this price point I couldn't pass it up.  It will be my spare until it's needed.  It will be unboxed to preclear twice and then put back in the box.
