September 8, 201213 yr No, the data will still exist and should still be visible from the share, it will just no longer be taken into account when adding new data. I've never had to exclude a disk myself but I know that is the intended behaviour. I have included a new disk and it worked as expected.

I've never had to exclude a disk myself but I know that is the intended behaviour. I have included a new disk and it worked as expected. I've never included or excluded ANY disk. I use the disk shares when I specifically want data on a specific disk, otherwise, I just let data fall where it may.
