5.0 rc5 AD glitch and issues

Featured Replies

Hello this is my first UnRaid build. I have purchased the pro license and joined my box to my domain. The issue I am experiencing is that once I change the smb security setting I lose access to the \\tower web page. I can still telnet and ping the box but can no longer access the web gui. I usually do a reboot to correct this however, I've noticed that everytime I reboot my box is no longer part of the domain.

I also have a question about accessing the shares while on the domain. Should I put the box in any sort of special group in AD? it asks me for a login and I can never seem to log in to view the share. I've tried both domain credentials and tower\username pw.

Thanks everyone.

EDIT: just noticing that I can not find the user security section. I see where I can create users, but other than a username and pw I have nothing else.

Looking into the issue more I see that a number of people are reporting the same issues and can not get this to work on latest release. It is a shame as I bought the pro license to use with my domain and AD. How does this get submitted as a bug to look into for next release. I have seen some people revert back to the current stable release with success, however I have tried this but now can not get a network connection (lack of nic drivers?)

I am stuck.
