I have one file that just won't leave my cache drive....

 

I get an error:

 

rsync: read errors mapping "/mnt/cache/.....":input/output error (5)

 

I have run the file system check on the cache and all the drives in the array but mover still won't work.

 

Is this a sign my cache drive is dying (SMART hasn't thrown any errors that I've noticed)?

 

This file has been there a long time, I was doing a manual mover before testing a SSD as my cache drive.

Attach a syslog ans SMART report for the drive.

There is an End-to-end_error on the drive but overall assessment is passed.

This drive needs to be replaced ASAP.

Is there anyway you can think of to get the one file off the cache into the array before I pull the drive?

enter "cp /mnt/cache/directory/filename /mnt/disk1"
