pyload plugin?

Featured Replies

Thank you for you help. So far it works...sort of.

1. When I try to stop a download it continues. Only abort works.

2. Speed limits are ignored.

3. Downloads are saved to disk1. Is it possible to use a folder on the cache drive?

Any idea?

Not sure about this one

2. Speed limits are ignored.

Not sure about this one though I would assume changing it in the settings area and then restarting the app would work

Change the download directory before installing it.

2. Speed Limit

I guess I found out why there is a problem. It seems to me that the plugin settings of the unRAID GUI are partly ignored. The plugin itself has a setting for the speed limit. That works. However the download can't be stopped only aborted.

3. Download on cache drive.

Why can't I change the download directory just now? I don't use unmenu but adding the two commands in the go script should make it possible to create a folder "_pyload" on the cache drive, which is ignored by the mover script? Or am I wrong?

Nobody? An answer to question 3 would be really nice.

The "standard" way in unRAID v5 to have things on cache that are not moved is to create a share and set it to cache-only.

I think the old way of having the folder name begin with "." also still works, since that is the Linux way of making things hidden.

Having a folder name that begins with "_" ignored by mover is an extension in unMenu. I don't know if that still works or not.

Your earlier screenshot of the plugin page has the install and download directories on disk1. Create a cache-only apps share and any subfolders you create under it will be skipped by mover.

Don't know about stopping downloads. I've never used this plugin.

In the first image you posted there was a setting for "Download Directory"  set that to the location you want stuff to download to.

You are not using unMenu, but the plugin system.

Thanks trurl and prostuff1. Creating a Share for downloading works great.

Hi,

could anyone give me a hint. I use this nice plugin. In the plugin settings i have the option "run as user" there i could use root or nobody. Because i´m a linux noob i use windows to manage the downloaded files. The download is in a share called download and i want to move the movie from there to my "normal" share but under windows i have no rights. I could only move the movie under putty session with root rights. Is there any option to say "run as user" with the user who have write rights on my normal share ?
