Hard drive Temp questions

Featured Replies

Attached are the average temps I am getting, is this normal? I will post of pics of the case and drive setup in a few minutes.

Those temps are perfectly normal and actually on the low side, which is good. You should really only start to worry about anything that stays over 40 long term (in my mind at least, opinions vary).

Google research states drive temps of about 30 to 40 are best (least likely to have issues)  if I remember correctly.

Really what you don't want to see is very large swings in temp or temp staying over 45 (depends on drive as well. Some are rated for 40ish, some as high as 60)
