New install and cannot get network to connect (SOLVED)

Featured Replies

New installation using a Supermicro MBD-X9SCM-F-0.  Cable is plugged in lan port 1, lights are lit and blinking.

Running 3x SM AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 with latest bios.

Running latest build of 5 that was released today, I believe RC8a.

I have tried setting network interface to dhcp and a static ip address but to no avail.  I've tried plugging lan cable into different ports on the switch.

When I type ifconfig, I see the eth0 is set to the ip 192.168.1.10.  This is outside of my dhcp range.  But the TX/RX counters are 0.  Looks like it configured but nothing is being received or xmitted.

I cannot connect to it via ip or net name from any other pc on the network.

Attached is my syslog.

I do not know if there are any special bios settings I need to make, I've fiddled with a few but still nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Yep, plugging into LAN2 seems to solve the issue.  Dunno why UnRaid is picking that port...
