internetfriend
I have a server on 4.7 that has the following duties: SABNZBD, SICKBEARD, COUCHPOTATO V1, COUCHPOTATO, HEADPHONES - these were all installed through the wiki and without an unmenu plugin. MSQL - I have a msql server set up for xbmc I used unmenu to install. What's the best path for migrating to 5.0 and keeping my setup? will these programs continue to run ok if they arent attached to unmenu? what about MSQL? do I need to hose it all? I dont mind switching everything over to more up to date plugins (my sab and CP are extremely out of date) but MySQL I'd like to keep alive so I dont lose all my watched statuses. Sorry for the questions, just want to make sure its done right. I'm assuming that the plugin manager is far enough down the road I shouldn't wait either... Thanks! Quote Link to comment

For the most part, they should continue to function. I would however temporarily disable all of them prior to your upgrade process, then re-enable them one at a time after you are successfully on 5.0. Joe L. Quote Link to comment
