September 22, 201213 yr so. my server was on for some reason. must not have shut itself down when it was supposed to. not of my plugins were running and would not start. no i stopped the array from the webui but it after unmounting the disk. it quit responding. i went downstairs to the server (didnt try telnet) and tried a safe powerdown but it didnt do anything so i had to force it off by holding power. now it will start but still no webui or shares, except the flash drive. i disabled all plugins by moving them out of the /config/plugins folder. i also tried this: killall emhttp nohup /user/local/emhhtp & but im getting a permission denied. i am not a noob but have no idea what is going on here. i need some help.

Those commands stopped working to re-start the web-interface once past the 4.7 version. If you did that, your only way to restart is a reboot (after disabling ALL your plugins). Joe L.
September 22, 201213 yr Author i thought i tried that but i guess not. it's working now. unless i use my plugins again. but i think i know which one is causing the issue.
