unMenu Hyperlinks

Featured Replies

I know this has been discussed with regards to the security issues involved with remote access - but that's NOT what I'm trying to do.

I have an Android Tablet that does not understand a Netbios name in a browser such as http://tower:8080, so even if I start with http://192.168.10.xxx:8080 the hyperlinks do not work. Is there a way to set them to use the IP address rather the Netbios name? - it would make using unMenu locally within the network much easier.

Yes, there is...

This is used by many Macintosh users, as they don't have netBIOS to use to resolve the server name.

Excellent, thank you, that works.

One problem remains for me. In some pages I do not see any button icons / images, examples of this are in myMain.

Install the Image Server package from the package-manager.  That will likely fix it.
