September 25, 201213 yr Hello, I currently have an unraid server running unmenu, sickbeard, sabnzb+ and crashplan. I am looking to also run couch potato on the same box but I am having a problem. I installed the unmenu plug in and it downloaded and installed the couch potato files fine however when i go to tower:8083 it doesn't load at all. I think It may be a python issue (although I am clutching at straws) In unmenu it says the following next to python "Installed, but version is different. Current version='2.5.2' expected '2.6.4'" also if I putty into the box and run python it says 2.5.2 I assume I need 2.6.4 to get couch potato to work. I have used the unmenu package to install 2.6.4 but it makes no difference. It says "python-2.6.4-i486-1.txz installation: python-2.6.4-i486-1.txz is now installed:" but it is still 2.5.2. I just noticed the following as well: When I run couch potato through unmenu the following appears in the system log. "Sep 25 11:52:48 Tower su[6965]: Successful su for nobody by root Sep 25 11:52:48 Tower su[6965]: + /dev/pts/0 root:nobody" Also if I run the command in putty "/etc/rc.d/unraid.d/rc.unraid_couchpotato start " I get the message "CouchPotato started as nobody." Any ideas what I am doing wrong or how to update python? Thanks in advance.

September 28, 201213 yr my guess is that one of your other plugins is installing it. You are correct, the new V2 couchpotato does require 2.6. Sick and Sab are compatible with 2.6.. are you using umenu? if so is python still being installed there? If it is you dont need it to, the plugin will install that stuff now. You can also go through the logs and find out what one is doing it and change the package and plugin to point to the new python I wound up just using one guy's plugins for all three. from the unraid wiki https://github.com/Influencer/UNplugged
