Heres my new unRaid rig, using this software first time and sofar looks promising. I bought the licence ofc.

 

Zotac 350 AMD miniITX

nameless 1U miniITX case with 200w psu

4gig ddr sodimm

4x 3TB WD disks

Sofar it wont heat up too much and it's going to go slightly cool utility room. There are 2 small 1U fans right side of the motherboar blowing directly to the CPU.

 

After i fill that up..

Plan was to add 2x of these LianLi 5disk external cases with e-sata.

 

All +10 disk rack mount cases are so huge, too deep for my small rack. i decided to go with 1U server and external boxes ontop of that. totalling capacity of 14 disks.

 

Disk temps were at 42c after 24hour parity building. It was doing the building around 110 MB/s no clue is that good or bad.
