Mounting USB NTFS for copy

Featured Replies

I've read this:

http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Mounting_an_external_USB_drive_having_an_existing_NTFS_file_system_in_READ/WRITE_mode_to_transport_files_from/to_unRaid_server

I'm wondering the exact procedure for copying an entire NTFS' drive contents to the array once I've plugged it in via USB and mounted it read only.  How exactly does it work?  Can I move the entire drive's contents at once?

Figured this would be faster than connecting it to my Windows machine and copying over the network.  Have about a dozen disks with content to copy over, both IDE and SATA.

Thanks.

Use Midnight Commander running as nobody.  Enter "sudo -u nobody mc"
