October 5, 201213 yr I am currently running UnRaid on an AMD Sepron, 2GB RAM computer. I wonder if this spec is enough for SABNBZ or if not what is the recommended hardware spec for that? Other than SABNBZ, my unraid is just used as a movie share, no more than 1 blu-ray stream at time.
October 6, 201213 yr The Sempron line was around for a very long time -- what specific model? SABnzbd will run on just about anything. The only heavy duty requirements are when it needs to rebuild a corrupt/partial file. On a slower machine, it just takes more time.
October 6, 201213 yr Author Mine is the Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz Socket AM3 45W Single-Core Processor (SDX140HBGQBOX)
October 6, 201213 yr It's possible you won't be able to download an NZB and stream a Blu-ray at the same time if all operations are on the same 5400rpm drive. SAB is a CPU hog. That's why I switched to nzbget (see my sig).
October 6, 201213 yr Author Thanks Neilt0. No, they won't be in the same drive. I will also look at nzbget.
