Mover Script and Sickbeard Post-Processing

Featured Replies

Bit long winded, but would like some help on configuring the mover script to stop deleting folder structure after moving or enhance Sickbeard to compensate.  Unraid 5.0-rc8a running latest Influencer plugins for Sabnzbd, Sickbeard, and Couchpotato2.  I use a 40GB SSD as the cache drive and run the mover script daily at 0340.  Plugin application install folders use "/mnt/cache/.xxx" for each plugin on the cache drive.  Sabnzbd downloads all files under the "/." hidden structure on the cache drive and the Sickbeard post-processing script moves the completed file after processing from there to my general share, which is cached, /mnt/user/TV Shows.

The problem I have is with the mover script wiping out the folder structure in the share before a file is downloaded - first file for a new season.  Sickbeard creates the destination folder in the share, which is cached on the cache drive (ex:  TV Shows/The Flintstones/Season04).  If Sab doesn't finish downloading an episode which in this case the problem is with the first episode of a new season before the mover starts, the mover deletes the final destination folder and post-processing fails because the folder structure is gone.  How can I configure the mover or Sickbeard to either not delete the empty folder structure or re-create it at post-processing time if it does not exist?

Thanks

Something doesn't sound right.. IF sickbeard is set to process files in /., and is set to move files that have finished processing to /mnt/user/TV Shows, it shouldn't matter if the mover runs inbetween processing/downloading, in the eyes of the app, the folder will still exist regardless of what disk it now resides on.

Yeah, it sounds like you have SAB or sickbeard set to move the files to /mnt/cache/TV Shows instead of /mnt/user/TV Shows...I did the same thing at first.  Doublecheck the sab config maybe?  And the sick beard one.

They are set to /mnt/user/TV Shows and /mnt/user/Movies.  Sab downloads are kept under "/.sabnzbd/downloads/..." before the post script is ran.  Couch hasn't had the problem as I don't use it very much, mostly grab TV shows.  It does not happen often, only twice in a month so far and always on a new episode for a season I do not have that starts download, but does not finish till after the move script has ran.  It is configured to create season folders.  I will have to wait for the next occurrence to capture the post-processing script log since I did a reset to update some unmenu items that were out of date.
