Where does the log/output go after doing a parity check?

I did a parity check and found 175 errors. I told the system to correct the errors. Is it normal to have this many errors on a system? While the parity check was going on I was doing a lot of writing to the array and deleting stuff also. Could this have caused the errors? Anyway, I'm looking for what the errors were and the syslog does not have any specific information on the errors at all. That's why I'm asking where the output logs are. Thanks!
