Unable to access \\tower\flash

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just upgraded from 4.7 to the latest 5.0 release candidate. I'm just trying to install the SimpleFeatures plugin but I'm unable to browse to the \\tower\flash share (or any of the disk# shares either). The shares I have created appear to be working fine, it's just these default system shares.

I have had this error as well,

Go onto the main configuration page in your browser using //tower

select the flash drive settings, you should just click on where it says "flash" under all your drives

Thanks flintlock, but this is already set to Yes and Public unfortunately.

Try setting them to private and No.  Then apply.  Then set them to Yes and public and apply.  I've had to do this even though it shows public and exported.

Thanks Bob, I tried this but still didn't work. Turns out I just needed to restart my own PC (Windows 8 ) and now I can access the \\tower\flash share and all the \\tower\drive# shares. When in doubt turn it off and on again, guess I should have tried that before posting.
