October 8, 201213 yr I just installed ver.5, and now I wondering if my 512 MB flash drive is large enough. I have unMenu up and running and was attempting to install AirVideo when the installation stopped, giving me a “Not enough disk space´ warning. I don’t think unRaid requires that much memory space, although I’ve never bothered to check past installations. And, I have no idea about the other two programs. I do know I had all three programs installed and running with ver. 4.6. So, the question is, do I have a bunch of junk files which need to be trashed, or should I buy a larger flash and new registration? By the way, I did delete the old unMenu and AirVideo files Thanks
October 8, 201213 yr You probably need to shut the sever down. Pull the Flash drive out and plug it into a Windows machine. Backup the contents of the flash drive to a folder on your computer. Then right click on the drive, pick 'Properties', 'Tools' and 'Error-Checking'. See if the tool finds any errors. (I have no doubt that Apple has a similar tool in their arsenal.) There is a possibility that you might have some errors on the drive and the tools might be able to fix them and free up some space. If the drive is OK, check to see if you have a lot of files for packages in the 'packages' folder that you aren't using. My flash drive has only 66.1MB of files on it.
October 9, 201213 yr Author Thanks, I will do that. I have already deleted several files from the packages folder so I will focus on looking for errors. It appears the flash should have enough capacity. Hmm, I have a second registration key I had purchased and never used. It has been out of sight for 3-4 yrs, and I forgot all about it. I think will try installing the programs on this flash and see what happens. Thanks for the reminder.
