October 9, 201213 yr How do I movie data from a disabled disk to another disk using Telnet? The disk that I am moving from is disk2 and the disk that I am writing to is disk5. I am replacing a 3TB drive with a 1.5TB drive. I am running 5.0-rc8a

I could use window to move the files but I think it would go faster locally. I need to copy over all the data to one of the other disks (this case disk2 to disk5), reset the config, swap the drive, restart, then recalculate the parity.
October 9, 201213 yr If you are not familiar with linux, easiest is to invoke mc and then use it (midnight commander) to move the files.
