October 9, 201213 yr Hi. I've just put together the basics of my second build. I am a complete noob when it comes to configuration. For some reason, I can not get my bios to load on my Syncmaster screen. I have moved ram to different slots, removed all cards. I'm down to the bare minimum wired up. I have no board speaker so I can't report on any sounds. My configuration is below. I believe I've followed the parts recommendation completely. Any thoughts? Norco 4224 Supermicro MBD-X9SCM-F-O Intel Core i3 2100 Dual Core LGA1155 3.1GHZ Sandy Bridge Corsair TX750 V2 750W ATX Kingston ValueRAM 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1333 CL9 240-PIN SDRAM
October 9, 201213 yr These Supermicro motherboards require ECC memory - if the ones you got are not ECC they will not work
October 9, 201213 yr Author The recommended PSU is the CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W. I would be shocked if the 750W isn't compatible. How can I verify this? Where do I check if my ram is ECC? Kingston ValueRAM 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1333 CL9 240-PIN SDRAM???

October 9, 201213 yr It has to be 1.5V (as opposed to 1.35V) but otherwise yes, you should be OK. This here will work: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820139262 I used a Newegg.ca link since I'm assuming you're Canadian since you ordered the other stuff from NCIX.
October 10, 201213 yr Here is the link to the correct memory on NCIX: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=62867 And here is the link if you want 8GB sticks: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=66488
