I had the sabnzb download folder give me an access denied error. I fixed it by chmoding something but I can't find the thread on it anymore. Can someone tell me what I did to fix it or show me the thread, I think it was about a week or two ago that I saw it.

chmod -R 777 /path/to/folder

What does the R do?

-R is recursive - mods the main path and every folder under it

also might want to run sab as user nobody and

 

chown -R nobody.users /path/to/files
