Preclear Test Report - looks okay?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just precleared my new Barracuda 3 TB drive.  Could you look at the test report and see if there are any concerns?  It looks okay to me.  Thank you very much for your help.

Selective self-test flags (0x0):

After scanning selected spans, do NOT read-scan remainder of disk.

If Selective self-test is pending on power-up, resume after 0 minute delay.

Where is the preclear report?  You did not attach it.  All you gave is a smart report showing zero hours run-time.  Unless you have a spare DeLorean, and have gone back in time, that cannot be a smart report from after you precleared the disk, as that process would have the disk spinning 30+ hours.

The smart report also says nothing about the preclear success (or not)

Look in /boot/preclear_reports for the summary report for the disk.
