Can I mount an ext3 drive previously in a different NAS on my new unRAID server

Featured Replies

I have a Proliant NL40 wih 4 drive bays. I have it set up with 2 disks in at the moment. I have all my media (more than 3Tb) on my Dlink DNS323 NAS. Transfer of that much data over my homeplug based network is going to take weeks.

I have moved one of the disks into a spare bay on the server. I can telnet into the tower and can see Vol1. Can I now mount the other ext3 disk so I can just do a simple cp command to move the files from the old disk to the new. Once it's all moved I can then format the old disk and add it to the unRAID array.

if anyone knows how to do this please let me know it would make life much easier.

Cheers, Rob.
