October 19, 201213 yr Does anyone know the difference between these versions of the same drive? The 9YN166 is the 1st gen and has firmware CC4H, the 1CH166 is currently shipping and has firmware CC43, is CC43 firmware newer and are they compatable?

October 20, 201213 yr Author I checked the warranty on the 1CH166 drive I have and it is 2 yrs, also it was made in Thailand , I have some 9YN166 drives that were purchased the first part of this year and they were made in China with a 1 yr warranty, very very confusing.
