October 20, 201213 yr Hi, I installed the SABnzbd 0.6.7 package from UNMenu and I have having issues accessing my downloaded files (error message 'the file is inaccessible'). I can run the fix permissions utility each time to fix it but that is a huge hassle. I have been doing some searching around the forums on the issue and I believe it maybe because it is installed as root instead of 'nobody?' My question would be how I would go about changing this. I am very new to this. Additional Information: -Running version: 5.0-rc8a Basic Folders: -/mnt/user/keith/SABnzbd/Incomplete/ -/mnt/user/keith/SABnzbd/Complete/ Thanks, EDIT: Fixed! This issue is easily resolved by opening SABnzbd and going to Config > Folders and setting permissions to 770 - finally found the answer in another post.
November 1, 201213 yr check the folder/file owners. chown so a user called nobody owns them, provided thats the same user that is running your SAB instance.
