AMD-E350 Unraid. Possible?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I plan on going with a cheap build to last me for a year or two, before I upgrade.

I am from Malaysia but do import stuff from China regularly.

There is a Chinese branded AMD-E350 configuration. What I liked about it is that it comes with 6 sata ports.

It comes with an onboard Realtek RTL811 NIC. I am worried that the NIC might not work with unraid.

Other specs includes:

SATA Interface: 6 x SATA II Interface

PCI-E slots : 1 x PCI-E X16, 1 ×PCI-E X1

PCI slots : 1 x PCI

What I have:

1 x SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 7200RPM 1TB

1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 7200 RPM 1TB

1 x Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX 7200 RPM 1TB

3 x  Western Digital WD Green WD30EZRX 3TB  (Recently Purchased, UNUSED)

What Will It Be Used For:

1) To  stream my movies / tv shows to another computer. No transcoding is needed

2) If it is possible, I would like to run a XBMC server on this board as well.

Would this board be sufficient enough for my basic needs?
