October 30, 201213 yr I've had an HTPC for some time running Sabnzbd, Sickbeard, and YAMJ, which would then save media to my unRaid server. It worked well, but after reading so many people using Sabnzbd and Sickbeard directly on unRaid I decided to take the plunge. I'm not great with Linux so it took a little while, but I now have both working perfectly and talking back and forth just fine. So now I'm wondering about YAMJ. I did notice the sticky at the top of this forum about how to install YAMJ, but it looks a little daunting for a newbie like me. So it had me thinking about what others might be doing. Is there any specific reason people aren't using NMJ? I can't even remember specifically what attracted me to YAMJ. It may have just been the great looking skins. Since NMJ appears to exist in Sickbeard I'm wondering if this is now a better solution. Additionally, I'm wondering how others have YAMJ configured with unRaid. In my case the HTPC would have to spin up all the drives to read everything once something was downloaded. I would do this via a post-processing script in Sabnzbd. Has anyone figured out a way to execute YAMJ that does not require to spin up all the drives? I've seen some others using CRON jobs to activate YAMJ, but that is typically done only once a day. I would prefer it to run right after something has been added. Do I have to live with spinning up all the drives and creating a post-processing script in Sabnzbd to accomplish it? Any guidance or information around you have it currently running would help me. Thanks.

If it's not broke, I don't tinker. PB
