I've come across a thread in this forum about the unfortunate circumstance of Samsung F4 drive, and unfortunately it's one of my drives!

The three cycles preclear didn't report any error, though. The drive's production date is 2010/09 (which is earlier than the 'threshold' of 2010/12), and the firmware version reported by preclear is the original.

Should I proceed using this drive?
