Hey guys,

So I bought some Norco SS-500 5in3 cages to put in my CM Stacker, but realized I have no screws! my old cages were held in by the slide-out tabs, and I don't remember where I put those tabs and I don't have any screws.

 

Anyone know which kind of screws I will need to get in order to install the Norco cages?

I would hazard a guess and say it mounts with standard optical screws, which would be M3-.5. Just pickup a bag of optical drive screws and a bag of hard drive screws, you can never go wrong with extra screws.

Getting 4 of those 5 packs is cheaper than getting a 15 pack, the norco can use 20 screws (8 for top two 5.25 bay it occupies and 4 for the bottom 5.25 bay) according to the images I can find of it. Although not sure if it'd be required to use every screw hole on it.

 

I keep a healthy stock of screws for any size project, never know when they'll come in handy.

But I just decided to go with a brand new case. Went with a Nexus Prominent 9, can't wait to put it all together looks amazing from the pictures on this forum
