Interested in getting the plus version but a questions

Featured Replies

I'm testing the free version, and soon will likely need to add further drive support, so naturally i will want to register and get the plus version, but i am concerned,

What happens when my flash drive dies the day after i register with my Flash GUID ?

Tom will usually accommodate you if an email is sent directly to him discussing the situation.

I.E. as long as a pattern of abuse is not evident he'll probably issue you a new key.

What happens if I purchase a license from someone else after they purchase a 2 pack of pro licenses and then sell one? I will own a valid license but I will not have purchased it myself.

You best ask Tom about that.  Only he could answer what you are asking.

PS.

The "plus" version (or "pro") is only a single "key" file to put on its matching USB flash drive.  the rest of the unRAID product is unchanged.  It is tied to the serial number of the flash drive it was purchased for.  If you do purchase one license of a two-pack, make sure you get the flash drive too.  Otherwise it is completely useless.
