November 1, 201213 yr So the spooks must have gotten in to my unraid box last night as this morning I couldn't no longer access any shares or reach it via the web browser. I could ping it however. A reboot didn't resolve it either. I tried to find info on manually starting unraid from the command prompt but no luck there. I did do a dmesg|grep SATA|grep link which resulted in ata7: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) ata1: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 0) ata5: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 0) ata3: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 0) ata2: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 0) ata4: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 0) ata6: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 0) ata8: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) ata9: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) ata10: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) ata11: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) ata12: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300) All drives passed the Smart check test which I did via the cmd line. I've removed SimplesFeatures just in case, no difference. I'm guessing the array isn't automatically starting because there is an issue? Beta 5 (can't remember the RC version) installed as as SimpleFeatures, Sickbeard and Sabnzbd. Syslog attached. Please advise. syslog.txt
November 1, 201213 yr Author I had removed all plugins as noted in my OP, however I renamed the folders as suggested. No change. I can see the flash share in Finder (on Mac), nothing else although it hangs when trying to view it. Going to 10.0.1.4:8080 does nothing. I can ping the box and telnet to it.
November 1, 201213 yr ... :8080 does nothing. I can ping the box and telnet to it. 8080 is usually the unMenu port which won't work if you have booted without addons. Try just the ipaddress (which will use the default port 80)
November 1, 201213 yr Author (slaps head) Yes, port 80 worked. The array was fine, no errors, so have no idea why it didn't start. Took the opportunity to update unRaid and SimpleFeatures and all seems to be good.
