Hi

 

Have tried searching but struggling to find info. My current Unraid server (Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard) is just about out of storage space. I managed to obtain a IBM M1015 but have been unable to flash it.

 

Being based in UK means my options are somewhat limited. Has anyone got any suggestions for current motherboards that would be capable of flashing the IBM M1015?

What error are you getting and how exactly are you attempting to flash it? I found I had to run a dos program to clear it and then another to flash it to rev 14. I've not got the commands in front of  me but I used a DOS boot stick to do it although on a server board. This after trying a UEFI flash and figuring out the clearing program had to be run in dos first. I was shocked that the flash went as smoothly as it did and that dos booted so easily :-)
