Just wondering, right now I have a desktop MB w/ 6 SATA Ports.  I am expecting to grow beyond that soon.  Is it a big deal to move the a SAS Controller later?

    My MB has 2 PCIE 2.0 x16 and 2 PCIE 2.0 x1 slots....

     

    I can always change my MB I guess.  Using an AMD3+ CPU right now.

    x16 is fine. Any card up to x16 will work in it, i.e., x1, x2 , x4 , x8, & x16.

    I think some will only allow video cars though. Can always try it and if it doesn't work them swap the mobo...
