hi all,

 

i have a strange behaviour since today for my unraid. its a N40L HP Server, so i push it to Powerdown S5 State when its time to sleep. After wakeup i'm missing AFP Shares because i don't get any connections to the server via AFP. SMB is working and telnet also.

i looked up the syslog and there is no word about afp is restarted again after wakeup. so i did a reboot via telnet and the service is still not connectable.

 

here is my log and there are some Bus errors. i searched the web but my unix knowledge is small so i decided you guys. Hope you can help me.

after a reboot again i suddenly don't get any Bus errors and the AFP service is working.

yes i have but i dont see the point how this helps me with the AFP errors? do i miss something?

and it happened again that my AFP crashed or something. after a clean WOL S5 start. in my case a clean start.

Bus Errors at the end of the syslog.

 

could someone have a look? unraid is very unstable for me right now.

Sleep is not officially supported. Ask in the User Customizations forum.

why this should be a problem with sleep? in the Log there are afp bis errors

You keep mentioning sleep. It's likely that AFP is not being resumed correctly after sleep. Disable sleep and see if the problem goes away.

what helps is to stop the array and start it right away. no errors and everything runs smoothly
