Cache drive - app drive question

Featured Replies

I added my cache drive and installed Sabnzbd & Sickbeard to it under a mount point called apps.  Once I activate the "cache" drive, how do I keep it from trying to move apps I have installed?  I found the info in the FAQ referencing directories that start with a "." - so does that mean I need to change my install so that apps is actually ".apps"?

If someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

From the UI you click on Shares. There you should see your apps share.

Under the heading "Cache Drive" you select "Only". I am not sure about the .apps. I know that it will make the file hidden. Dont know it it will prevent it from being moved. I am still learning.

I know about that part - my apps share is cache only.

I'm more concerned with the mover script itself and what I need to do (if i need to do) to make sure that my apps share is not moved.

If the apps share is set as cache only the mover will not move it. You do not need to do anything further. the "." was a work around prior to the cache only option.

Awesome, thanks for the info.
