Forum emails me that there's a new post, but nothing is there

I always select "Notify me of replies" when I post.  Recently I've been getting emails that new replies have been posted, but when I visit the forum, there is nothing there (just my original post, or whatever replies I have already read).

 

Is someone spamming the forum, and the mods are deleting the post right away, and then when I go check it out, only my original post is there?

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
