I thought Id try ipkg on unraid to see if I could screw my system up. I already ran this on my Synology DS1512+

To my surprise it works, and I could install lftp first time!  :o

 

I installed ipkg as detailed here http://www.ingmarverheij.com/2012/04/how-to-install-ipkg-on-synology-nas-ds212/

using the atom 1686 bootstrap.

I had to make a /volume1 directory first, re-run, then ipkg update. No reboot was necessary.

 

Im happy, now I can lftp into my syno and send files :)

Lol, and nano runs too. Smart.
