Building my first n raid server for all my videos and music

Featured Replies

I am going to make my first unraid server for videos and music and I wanted to know is it better to get a motherboard with one or two processors?

I will be using it to store movies,tv shows, music and my photos from iPhoto and I will use it to download torrent files from the Internet . I have a i3 iMac with 16 gb ram with 1 tb drive in it. I have:

2- 3TB Wd Red drives

1- 3TB Seagate

2- 750 gb Seagate drives

If anyone can recommend a good motherboard please do so I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks

There are no benfits in having a motherbord with 2 processors. Many good motherbords will do, either for Intel or AMD processors.

Look here for examples:
