November 12, 201213 yr I am going to make my first unraid server for videos and music and I wanted to know is it better to get a motherboard with one or two processors? I will be using it to store movies,tv shows, music and my photos from iPhoto and I will use it to download torrent files from the Internet . I have a i3 iMac with 16 gb ram with 1 tb drive in it. I have: 2- 3TB Wd Red drives 1- 3TB Seagate 2- 750 gb Seagate drives If anyone can recommend a good motherboard please do so I would greatly appreciate it Thanks

November 13, 201213 yr Author Mother boards are extremly confusing when it comes to choice there are too freakin many.If anyone comes across a good deal on a motherboard processor combo please post a link. i see some at frys on occasion but not sure if they will work. i would like to be able to oneday have a max of 15-20 drives so i need a motherboard that will allow expansion also has any body used something like this in a unraid setup http://www.cooldrives.com/index.php/cosapomubrso.html
