This MB fails to boot syslinux/UnRaid from Kingston Technology 1GB USB-2 stick. Just gives "Boot Error" and that's the lot. The stick works fine in my other (Acer) UnRaid box.

 

Tried three versions of syslinux (3.54, 3.71, 3.31). Tried syslinux -ma. Tried every(?) possible permutation of BIOS. Tried the HP USB format utility.

 

After 10 hours trawling forums and messing about with it, I've had enough and ordered a Gigabyte motherboard to replace it.

 

I'm not looking for help --- just warning that this MB is probably not good for UnRaid. (Or more accurately, not good for syslinux --- it never gets as far as loading UnRaid.)

 

Of course if anyone has made this MB work, do post how here.
