01111000
Hey guys, I've been on 4.7 stable for well over a year and a half (knock on wood). I want to upgrade to a 5.0 build to take advantage of 3TB hdd support and the plugin system. My specs are: Mobo: SUPERMICRO MBD-X7SPE-HF-D525-O (LAN chipset is Intel 82574L) Ram: Crucial 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 PSU: Antec NEO ECO 400W I currently have a 2TB drive as parity, 2x 2TB, 3x 1.5TB as data drives and a 750GB as cache. Is there anything I need to know to make this upgrade a smooth one? I primarily use SMB for data access (XBMC and drive mapping) and have the usual Sickbeard, Sabnzbd, CouchPotato setup. Thanks in advance Link to comment
manolodf
I have a verbatim situation (Different hardware), what is the best RC to update to in that scenario? One of my biggest interests is to migrate to plugin system on my existing Sab, Sickbeard and also to finally be able to use CouchPotato v2 Link to comment
gulo
Hi I was just going to post the same question. I have been using 4.7 for over a year and it's working great but I would like to run a plex server for my new Roku box. How safe is it to upgrade to 5.0 at this point ? I am mostly only using the basic features. And just in case - any ETA on 5 final ? Link to comment
