November 16, 201213 yr Over the weekend the power went out at my house and the unraid box obviously shut off. When I booted it back up everything seemed fine. The array was good and all data was there and there were no disc errors. Except about ever 20 minutes the computer just shuts off. It is running the latest version of unraid. I first thought over heating so I took off the heatsink and cleaned off the thermal paste to put new on, and even replace replaced the power supply with a known working one. And same exact thing happens. I changed out the power strip it was on thinking it may be that also. I booted into the bios where you can monitor the hardware temps and nothing strange there. Would there be anything that anyone can think of with unraid that could cause this? Other than this the server has been running unriad for the past 8 months.
November 16, 201213 yr Author As a follow up over night I booted from an Ubuntu live cd and let it run all night and the computer had no issues so it seems all hardware is ok after the surge. It seems to be an issue with unraid itself. Any clues?
