I just replaced my 2tb parity disk by a 3tb one

It is now running parity sync

After that , i add the 2tb drive as a 4th data drive

Do i need to format that one then? Or preclear? Or both?

 

Is it normal that i didnt have to format the new 3tb parity?

    Yes you can add it back in and it's normal not to preclear parity as it has no format. The drive going back in will have to be formatted etc.
