Freezing video - sky2 receiver hang detected - help!

Hi all - i'm running 5.0 rc5 and i get freezes all the time when playing video over the network - especially on 1080p.

 

If i just copy and play the files locally there is no issue, and pinging the unraid server produces no dropped packets.

 

Looking at the syslog it seems the NIC is hanging a lot causing this problem.

 

I'm using a P5W DH Deluxe mobo which has the Marvell 88E8053 Gigabit LAN Controller.

 

Is that onboard NIC just no good? Should i just get a pcie Intel NIC? Or is there a solution?

    Could be cable, switch, or NIC. Try a new cable.
