Better ways to run YAMJ

I am interested in automating YAMJ.  I currently have it installed on my unraid server.  I recently upgraded my server to 5rc8.  This upgrade forced a change.  I used to telnet into my server as root and then run yamj-rescan.  Now that I am running 5rc8 my procedure changed.  Now I have to do the following:

su - nobody --shell=usr/bin/bash

then

/boot/extra/yamj-rescan

I have 2 goals

 

1.  Automate the yamj-rescan process

2.  Still be able to run yamj upon demand.

 

I appreciate if people would share your process to update yamj.
