Kernel does not have pseudo root support

Featured Replies

Hello you all.

First of all, sorry for my english, it isn't the best. I am from germany.

I built my server a half year ago and was very happy with it until today.

My first problem was a new user share. I called it Bluray`s, but after that i wasn't able to connect  via SMB i think because of "´".

I wasn´t able to delete this user share even with telnet or in the webgui.

So I was running the unRaid Server with NFS for the a few months.

I installed the MediaTomb - Free UPnP MediaServer and a few days after that the server is not starting normaly.

I cannot connect via telnet to the server  --->  cannot possibly work without effective root

The array is online and the parity is valid. Webgui is running and also the unmenu.

SAMBA is STOPPED, Shared drives will not be visible on the LAN

It is not possible to Start Samba Shares via unmenu.

I tried to upgrate the usb stick with the newest RC (5.0-rc8a ) without any resut

I deleted the secrets.tdb without any result

May be someone is able to help me, Thank you in advance.

Changing the flash will not effect the disk contents. Don't assign any of the disks to the array. This is a test to determine if it's possible to login with a clean install.
